Doug was born and raised in western suburbs of Minneapolis, MN. He graduated from the Carlson School of Business with a degree in management. In 1985 he founded his first business, Creative Assemblies, now known as Creative Banners. The company grew quickly and was sold as a profitable growing business in 1991. Since that time he started several successful businesses in the sign industry, home remodeling and light manufacturing. After more than a year of searching for a business to acquire Doug came across Manomin Resawn Timbers and he fell in love. It is a great match for his previous business experience and strong interests in construction, manufacturing and woodworking. Manomin had all the elements he was looking for in a business. He quickly acquired the operation in November of 2005. The company makes a quality product and has a strong marketing effort led by Sarah Londerville, Director of Marketing and Sales. Doug’s goal is to continue to grow the company by supplying top quality, unique and evolving products complimented by the best customer service in the industry.
