Mark Clasen was born and raised in the suburbs of Minneapolis, MN. He became interested in woodworking in high school after attending his first woodshop class. In the early 1990s, Mark moved to Taylors Falls, MN and started his own custom kitchen and furniture shop. In 2009, he began his partnership with Manomin Resawn Timbers. Mark likes his role at Manomin because he is able to help clients create something extraordinary for their home or office improvement projects.
Mark is also a volunteer fireman for Taylors Falls, MN where he has served for the past 17 years. He's very active in the Taylors Falls community and school, and as president of the non-profit Taylors Falls Skating Rink Group, helped raise money for a hockey rink in 2010. In his spare time, Mark loves to travel and go camping with his wife and two children, is an avid snowmobiler and plays hockey in a men's league.
